“I get to bring a little bit of my own style and personality to her so I think it’s going to be interesting to see who Stephanie is as an adult,” she continues. Stephanie moved from being a dancer to a wannabe guitar goddess in this one. It turns out that the most important thing about being a rock star isn’t knowing all the chords to Ace of Base’s “The Sign.” It’s way more important to spend all your rehearsal time at the mall so you look the part. Okay, that’s just what Stephanie and the rest of Girl Talk thought. Their debut performance went about as well as you think. Jodie Sweetin is opening up about the special bond she shared with her TV dad Bob Saget.
Career
Gets home, Stephanie then tries to offer a bowl of popcorn to her sister as a truce, but she refuses, leaving Stephanie to warn D.J. That her words would come back to haunt her and even bite her, and angrily remark that maybe this time she messed up, but someday D.J. May need her, but she won't be around because D.J.

Is retiring as "Queen Bee" and from the Honeybees as a whole, so in true fashion, she passes the crown—or rather, antenna—onto Stephanie. Calls the remark "real bright" and says that Stephanie is losing it with the rebellious attitude, leading a still-rebellious Stephanie to say that D.J. Doesn't understand, thus subsequently leading her former roommate to counter and tell her that it is she who does not understand. However, by stopping her from going on a second joyride, D.J.
Nicky and Alex
Tragically, he was killed in a prison riot when Jodie was about nine months old. Jodie’s early life was marked by challenges, but she was adopted by her uncle Sam and his wife Janice, who provided her with a loving home. Jodie acknowledges the fortunate turn her life took, avoiding the potential pitfalls of the foster care system. Playing Stephanie Tanner allowed Sweetin to experience a life she didn’t live offscreen.
Relationships
A blind date for prom and ends up surprising her with her ex-boyfriend Steve instead. She also serves as a mother figure to the girls at times; most prominently giving advice to D.J. Becky gives birth to twin boys Nicholas and Alexander on Michelle's fifth birthday in part two of the season five episode "Happy Birthday, Babies". She and Jesse name Alexander after a teacher who inspired her to become a journalist and Nicholas after Jesse's father. Becky is offered a producer role on Wake Up, San Francisco in the season eight episode "The Producer", which results in Danny briefly quitting the show due to him being passed over for such a promotion. Jesse moves into the house with virtually no experience in taking care of young children or babies, but learns the ropes along the way.

Jesse and Joey's misadventures in taking care of her when she was a baby provided a great deal of humor. Once Michelle started to grow up, she became the focus of more of the show's storylines. Her best friends, Teddy and Denise, appear frequently in later seasons. In Fuller House, Stephanie volunteers to give up her life in London to move back into her childhood home to help take care of her sister's three kids. Kimmy volunteers to move in as well much to Stephanie's dismay but she soon puts her abrasive feelings aside, and becomes friends with her. Stephanie starts a relationship with Kimmy's younger brother Jimmy.
Max Fuller (portrayed by Elias Harger) is D.J.'s well dressed and intelligent middle child. He likes science, and is shown to be a clean freak like his grandfather. Max has rivalries with Kimmy's fiancé/ husband Fernando and classmate Taylor. Max's former girlfriend is Rose, the daughter of Steve's ex-fiancée C.J. Kimberly Louise "Kimmy" Gibbler (portrayed by Andrea Barber, recurring since season one and upgraded to a series regular in season five) is D.J.'s best friend and the Tanners' annoying but well-meaning next-door neighbor. Their relationship lasts until they break up in the season seven episode "Love on the Rocks," when they realize that the passion in their relationship is gone, but they agree to remain friends.
Is taking showers and other times when she is not in the room. She is very curious about her social life and listens in on her phone calls, reads her diary, and attempts to find her journals, which (as described by D.J. in the Season 3 episode Bye, Bye Birdie), contains her "hot stories". After Jesse makes a brief visit, she hugs and praises her with a brief "Good job, kid" for indeed controlling her tears and emotions during the hard times the family would have to suffer as a result, similar to when D.J. Comforted Stephanie regarding the loss of Pam (see "D.J.").
First episode
Danny views spring cleaning as his equivalent to Christmas and home movies as his New Year's Eve (as revealed in the season two episode "Goodbye, Mr. Bear"). His quirkiness and generally "unhip dad" personality are also targets for humor. He is a skilled pool, dart player and guitarist (revealed respectively in season four's, "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun," and season eight's, "To Joey, with Love"). In Fuller House, Jesse, Becky, and Danny all move to Los Angeles. Jesse becomes the music composer for General Hospital while Becky and Danny start a new nationally syndicated talk show called, Wake Up USA.
Joey's most successful job was portraying "Ranger Joe," on an afternoon children's variety television show. To cheer him up, the girls somehow tracked down Vicky and surprised him with her. He invites her to the 30th "Dadi-versary" party the girls threw for him, Jesse and Joey. Since Becky, Jesse and Joey are all moving back to San Francisco, Danny announces he's moving back too, and back into the house. In season four Becky's talk show The Gab was a success but it turned back into Wake Up San Francisco. Danny refused to audition to be her co-host, and briefly lived life as a retiree.
After the pitch for “Fuller House,” she found herself back on the set that had been her childhood home. The experience was surreal, like walking into a childhood home that had been slightly remodeled. Jodie, along with Candace Cameron Bure and Andrea Barber, were on board with the idea. This pitch marked a significant shift in Jodie’s life, transitioning her back into the world of television. Eventually, she moved into an apartment across the way, marking the first time she lived on her own without a partner. She realized the pain and resentment she held towards her biological mother and felt a deep desire to break the cycle.
Uncle Jesse leaving the Tanner household in the Season 4 episode “Fuller House” was one of the original series’ saddest moments. While fans were touched by the special moment between Uncle Jesse and Michelle, the TV star couldn’t understand why Stephanie’s bunnies weren’t her moment. But that showed how the TV dynamic can translate to real life even decades after the episode aired. Jodie and her eldest daughter have such a special relationship. Fans have gotten to see the pair's sweet bond on full display in a series of TikTok videos where they danced and laughed together.
The show gave her younger sister her own arc as well. In July 2002, Sweetin wed boyfriend Shaun Holguin, a police officer. During their marriage, she experimented with crystal methamphetamine, and soon became deeply addicted to the drug. Three years later, after a drug-related hospitalization, she agreed to enter a rehabilitation program. Sweetin underwent six weeks of intensive treatment, and entered a sober living facility after her release. As a result of her addiction, she and Holguin divorced in 2006.
